Fantastico is an amazing CPanel/PHP based Web application. It integrates with CPanel and gives your clients the ability to automagically install following Open Source Applications:

Fantastico REQUIRES CPanel. It will NOT work with other servers!

How it works

We tried to make the end user's life simple. No path setup, no manual MySQL database creation and data import, just the very base info is required to install and run any of the applications.

Fantastico will install only one instance of each script for any given user.

Below is the Fantastico main screen. If an application is already installed, Fantastico will display an "overview" link, else it will display an "install" link:

After clicking on "install", a form will collect the base configuration data (see image below). No setup info is required as this is done internal. The user may later finetune the configuration through the application's admin panel.

Seconds later, the application is installed. The user gets feedback that all necessary work is done and is provided with all information needed to enter the site or the admin area:

What does it cost?

The price of Fantastico depends on the count of servers you want to install it:
Base price 70,- US$ for 1 server
2nd server: 60,- US$ (additionally)
3rd server: 50,- US$ (additionally)
4th server: 40,- US$ (additionally)
5th server: 30,- US$ (additionally)
6th server: 20,- US$ (additionally)
Further server (up to 10th which counts as unlimited license): 10,- US$ (each further server additionally)

How do I install this? Will it work "out of the box"?

1. Copy all Fantastico files into the CPanel frontend directory (skin) of your choice.
2. Add a link to Fantastico (modify your current CPanel skin's index.html file).
3. wget and expand the applications tarball into /var/autoinstall/english.

Precise instructions are provided.

If you don't want to allow the installation of any of the included applications, just remove its directory from /var/autoinstall/english and it will automatically disappear from the Fantastico menu!
